Role overview

Security Operations Analyst role reporting to the Senior Manager of the Security Operations Center.

The role is part of a 24/7 human-led SOC protecting customers from cybercrime.

The analyst will detect and respond to intrusions while contributing to incident response, threat hunting, and detection engineering.

What you will do

  • Triage, investigate, respond to, and remediate alerts generated by the platform.
  • Analyze EDR and SIEM telemetry, logs, and forensic artifacts to determine attack causes and remediation.
  • Perform dynamic malware analysis to identify indicators of compromise or malicious intent.
  • Craft and tune detection signals for emerging threats and improve queue hygiene.
  • Investigate Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace activity and advise on compromised tenant remediation.
  • Assist SOC Support with customer and partner escalations involving threats and SOC questions.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to evolve human-led agentic workflows.
  • Support sales and contribute to incident response, threat hunting, and detection engineering.
  • Share work through blogs, conference talks, webinars, or research publications.

What you bring

  • At least 2 years of SOC, incident response, managed detection and response, or digital forensics experience.
  • Experience with at least one of Windows, Linux, or macOS, including attack surfaces and malware analysis.
  • Knowledge of system administration, Active Directory, PowerShell, Group Policy, and local account creation.
  • Working knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK tactics and techniques.
  • Working knowledge of ports, protocols, NAT, IP addressing, and VLANs.
  • Ability to analyze logs, processes, and artifacts to understand intrusions.
  • Clear written and verbal communication for diverse audiences.
  • Ability to use AI tools responsibly and validate their outputs.
  • Team-oriented approach to delivering strong outcomes.
