Security Officer Screening Operations

Provide customer service to personnel, drivers, visitors, and/or vendors at a logistics and distribution location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.

Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements; verify credentials, inspect authorized items, and maintain accurate access records.

Monitor entry and exit points, vehicle traffic, package handling areas, and other assigned locations for unusual activity; report observations through established procedures.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders when directed.

Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter, documenting conditions and reporting security-related concerns.
