Security Officer Screening Checkpoint Specialist

Provide customer service to clients, students, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Screen individuals entering designated locations in accordance with site procedures, including verifying credentials and directing visitors as appropriate.

Operate screening equipment and conduct permitted inspections of bags, packages, and other items in accordance with established procedures.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel.

Maintain accurate logs and reports related to access screening, unusual activity, incidents, and shift activities.
