As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and help maintain a secure environment for employees, drivers, and deliveries.

You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity.

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and control access to designated areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify unauthorized access, unusual activity, and facility-related concerns.
• Support the orderly movement of people and vehicles at the location by communicating professionally, following access-control protocols, and completing required reports.
