Functional Responsibilities
Build and operate security infrastructure for telemetry ingestion, SOAR automation, platform administration, and SOC enablement.
Support Google SecOps and Sentinel environments across cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
Data Ingestion and Normalization
- Architect and maintain telemetry ingestion from GCP, AWS, Azure, and on-premises environments using Bind Plane Forwarders, C2C connectors, and webhooks.
- Design, build, and troubleshoot custom parsers to normalize non-standard logs into the Unified Data Model.
- Build dashboards that monitor ingestion rates, latency, and data drops.
SOAR and Automation Engineering
- Design and code automated incident response playbooks in Sentinel SOAR using Python and visual builders.
- Build and maintain API integrations with firewalls, EDR, IAM, and ticketing systems.
- Automate artifact enrichment, evidence gathering, and initial containment actions.
- Configure SOAR case management fields, stages, and SLA tracking.
Platform Administration
- Monitor ingestion health to prevent data loss and maintain acceptable latency.
