Security Guard - Retail - Full time

Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional and approachable security presence.

Assist customers with general inquiries and provide directions when needed.

Support store associates and management by responding to security concerns and maintaining a safe work environment.

Enforce store policies professionally while treating all customers and employees with respect.

Work collaboratively with store management, law enforcement, and emergency responders when required.

Monitor CCTV systems and report suspicious activity or security concerns.

Conduct routine inspections of entrances, exits, emergency exits, and high-risk areas.

Maintain accountability for company-issued equipment, radios, keys, and other security assets.

Report safety hazards, damaged equipment, and maintenance concerns promptly.

Follow all company policies, site procedures, and health and safety standards.

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.

Comfortable working in a busy retail environment with continuous customer interaction.

Ability to patrol both indoors and outdoors, including parking lots and exterior areas.

Ability to respond quickly and professionally to emergencies and unexpected situations.

Shifts may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, statutory holidays, and peak retail seasons.

Maintain a professional, highly visible security presence throughout the store.

Complete patrols and assigned duties accurately and consistently.

Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, and customer concerns.

Produce clear, accurate, and timely reports.

Demonstrate excellent customer service while supporting loss prevention and maintaining a safe shopping environment.

Follow company policies, site procedures, and health and safety standards at all times.
