Role Overview
Healthcare Security Guards support hospital sites across the Greater Toronto Area.
The role requires professionalism, attention to detail, calm performance under pressure, and strong customer service in healthcare environments.
Location and Work Setting
- The work location is Toronto, Ontario, and the role is on-site.
- The schedule includes various rotating and continental shifts of 8 to 12 hours.
Compensation and Employment
- Pay is $18.40 to $23.87 per hour.
- The position is full-time.
Responsibilities
- Patrol hospital premises, parking areas, hallways, entrances, and restricted zones.
- Operate security cameras and alarm systems and report suspicious activity.
- Control access to restricted areas and enforce visitor and patient protocols.
- Respond to medical incidents, fire alarms, security threats, crises, evacuations, and urgent situations.
- Assist visitors, patients, staff, and hospital personnel while providing customer service.
- De-escalate conflicts, document incidents, and complete daily reports.
