About the Role
- Our organization is hiring a vigilant and disciplined Security Guard to oversee the safety and security of a commercial facility.
- You will patrol the premises, monitor surveillance feeds, and control access to the property to prevent unauthorized entry or vandalism.
- We are looking for an individual with strong observational skills who can remain calm and professional during emergencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular foot patrols around the interior and exterior perimeters of the property to detect security risks.
- Monitor closed circuit television (CCTV) cameras and alarm systems to identify suspicious behavior.
- Authorize and log the entry of employees, visitors, and delivery vehicles at the main security gate.
- Respond immediately to alarms, property disturbances, or medical emergencies according to company protocol.
- Write detailed daily activity logs and complete comprehensive incident reports when security breaches occur.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong verbal communication skills for interacting professionally with staff and local law enforcement.
- Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for the duration of an 8 hour shift.
- Basic computer literacy to operate security monitoring software and log reports.
