Role Description
- This is a full time, on site Security Guard role located in Qatar.
- The Security Guard is responsible for monitoring assigned premises, controlling access points, and ensuring the safety of people, property, and assets.
- Typical duties include patrolling designated areas, observing and reporting suspicious activities, responding to incidents or alarms, and following established security procedures and protocols.
- The role involves checking identification, managing visitor entry, and maintaining accurate logs and incident reports.
- Security Guards collaborate with colleagues and supervisors, comply with local regulations, and provide courteous assistance to clients, staff, and visitors while maintaining a strong security presence.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability in basic security operations, including patrolling, access control, and incident response.
- Strong observation, situational awareness, and reporting skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills, including clear verbal interaction and concise written incident documentation.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, handle conflict professionally, and follow established procedures and guidelines.
- Physical fitness sufficient for standing, walking, and patrolling for extended periods, and responding quickly to emergencies.
- Basic understanding of safety and security principles; prior experience in security, military, or law enforcement is an advantage.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required, and to adhere to company policies and local regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent; proficiency in English required, with Arabic or additional languages considered beneficial.
