Role Overview
We are currently seeking a reliable and dedicated Security Guard at Distribution Centre to join our team in New Westminster,BC.
This position involves providing security and monitoring services 24/7, with a focus on maintaining a safe and secure environment for all personnel and assets.
Provide professional security services across multiple posts within a high-volume at distribution facility, including Screening SP,access control, patrol, and surveillance operations.

Main Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying employee, visitor, and contractor credentials.
- Conduct regular interior and exterior security patrols to identify safety hazards and unauthorized activity.
- Monitor CCTV systems, alarms, and other security equipment to ensure site security.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, medical incidents, and security-related situations.
- Prepare accurate daily activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation.
- Enforce site security policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
- Monitor loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter access points to protect company assets.
- Provide professional customer service and assistance to employees, visitors, and vendors.
- Coordinate with supervisors, site management, and emergency responders during incidents.
- Maintain a visible security presence to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Valid BC Security Guard License.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
- Experience with access control, CCTV monitoring, and incident reporting.
- Strong observation, problem-solving, and conflict de-escalation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills for report writing and security systems.
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods and work in various weather conditions when required.
- Flexible to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
