Opportunity Overview
- Exciting short term (3 4 months) opportunity in tropical Brunei for secondary teachers.
- CfBT Education Services has been working with the Brunei Darussalam government for 40 years in support of its bilingual education policy.
- We are looking for qualified and experienced secondary English teachers to work in government schools in Brunei Darussalam for a short term contract from August December 2026.
Salary and Benefits
- Competitive tax free salary up to BND$60,000 (£34.7K) FTE, paid pro rata for the August–December 2026 contract period.

Eligibility Requirements
- Hold a degree from a university in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, United Kingdom, South Africa, USA, or an EU country.
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status/teacher accreditation (PGCE, BEd etc.) A TEFL cert with degree is not sufficient.
- Have a minimum of 3 years relevant classroom teaching experience post qualification with at least 1 year' experience of teaching English/ESL.
