Expert Product Storytelling: Build and maintain working knowledge of product features, soft home materials, and inventory availability. Confidently educate customers on design options, holiday promotions, and gifting recommendations to enhance their visit.
Daily Operational Tasks: Follow standard operating procedures for maintaining a clean, organized sales floor and stockroom. Safely handle point-of-sale (POS) transactions and process customer returns or exchanges according to guidelines.
Inventory Accuracy Support: Assist with standard operational workflows, including stock replenishment, checking in shipments, and managing stock flow to keep the floor fully prepared for peak traffic.
Visual Merchandising Maintenance: Support the team in executing visual updates according to HQ directives, ensuring displays stay styled and inspiring throughout the season.
Active Shift Collaboration: Participate in daily team huddles, communicate effectively with teammates to maintain seamless floor coverage, and contribute to a high-performing team dynamic.
In-the-Moment Problem Solving: Address routine customer questions or concerns on the floor with optimism, using good judgment to deliver quick service resolutions or escalating complex issues to a supervisor promptly.
Continuous Improvement: Ramp quickly by actively seeking out feedback and applying coaching from store leadership to sharpen your styling and service skills.
0–3 years of retail or customer service experience, ideally in a premium, specialized, or customer-centric environment.
An adaptable and proactive mindset: A true doer who takes initiative on the floor, anticipates customer and operational needs, and supports daily workflows without needing constant direction.

At Brooklinen, we offer a competitive total compensation package determined by market data specific to our size, stage, industry, and location. The base pay for this role is $18.50/ hour.
