Role Overview
Dodge Construction Network is seeking a seasoned, hands-on .NET developer for its search engineering team.
The role focuses on backend services, search APIs, search infrastructure, cloud-native applications, and related architecture.
The position is full-time, reports to the VP of Data Architecture, and follows a hybrid schedule from the Kochi office.
Backend and API Engineering
- Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable RESTful APIs using .NET Core and C#.
- Architect authentication, authorization, and entitlements or access-control systems.
- Contribute to fault-tolerant distributed-system designs and event-driven patterns.
- Collaborate on data ingestion and enrichment pipelines that feed search indexes.
- Use AI coding tools and validate generated code before merging.
- Maintain code quality through testing, code reviews, and engineering standards.
Search Platform Engineering
- Contribute to Solr or OpenSearch infrastructure, including schema design, indexing pipelines, and query parsing.
- Apply search relevance concepts such as tokenization, stemming, analyzers, and boosting strategies.
