Seafood Category Manager

**Role Overview:***As Seafood Category Manager, you will oversee and develop the seafood assortment strategy, managing channel-specific ranges and ensuring the category remains competitive, profitable, and aligned with customer expectations.

Your deep understanding of seafood products, supply chains, and market dynamics will enable you to optimize performance, lead supplier partnerships, and support commercial initiatives across the business.* Responsibilities:

• Category Strategy & Growth
• Develop and execute category plans to drive sales, profitability, and sustainable growth within the seafood segment.
• Manage the seafood category with channel-specific product assortments aligned to customer needs.
• Identify opportunities for range expansion, rationalization, and innovation.

• Monitor market trends, customer demand, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
• Analyze sales data and KPIs to optimize assortment, pricing, and promotional strategies.
• Use insights to support forecasting, budgeting, and commercial planning.

• Lead supplier negotiations, performance reviews, and cost management initiatives.
• Build strong partnerships with local and international seafood suppliers.
• Ensure supplier compliance with Bidfood ME’s quality, food safety, and sustainability standards.

• Work closely with Procurement, Logistics, Operations, Sales, and Merchandising teams to ensure seamless execution.
