Responsibilities
- Inspire, motivate and provide purposeful subject knowledge for students
- Put quality first teaching at the front and centre of all tasks
- Support self evaluation of school effectiveness and development of priorities
- Assist in maintaining high quality school environment and act as a role model
- Promote general progress and well being of students
- Provide guidance and advice on educational and wellbeing matters
- Contribute to assessments, reports and references
- Participate in meetings and staff CPD opportunities
- Communicate with parents and stakeholders
- Undertake other work as specified by line manager
Requirements
- Qualified teacher with Physics specialism
- Experience teaching Physics up to Year 13
- Based in the UAE
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Knowledge of Safeguarding procedures
- Ability to work in dynamic environments
- Experience in primary, secondary, or college sector
- Computer literate with online teaching ability

Role Summary
- Location: United Arab Emirates (fully remote, must be willing to work from UAE)
- Start date: 1 September 2026
- Contract: 2 year FTC
- Working Pattern: Full time
- Salary: Between 170 195,000 AED annual (basic salary)
- Additional benefits: International package (flights, housing, utilities, medical)
Key Responsibilities
- Inspire, motivate and provide purposeful subject knowledge for students

- Support the self evaluation of the school’s effectiveness and the development of priorities for improvement
- Assist in maintaining and developing a high quality school environment and profile and act as a role model
- Promote the general progress and well being of individual students and any class or group of students
- Provide guidance and advice to students on educational and wellbeing matters
- Provide or contribute to assessments, reports and references relating to students in a timely manner
- Participate in meetings and staff CPD opportunities
- Communicate with parents and other stakeholders to ensure they feel supported
- Undertake any other work as specified by their line manager
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Knowledge of the correct Safeguarding procedure
- Ability to work well in teams
- Able to work effectively in dynamic and changing environments
- Experience of working in the primary, secondary or college sector
- Experience of working in state or independent school sector
- Experience with creating resources and the ability to review and enhance our current course delivery
- Computer literate with the ability to teach online using technology applications
- Knowledge of best ways to engage students in your subject of expertise
- The capability to drive best practices and have a reputation for delivering high quality material
- Keen interest within the online teaching and learning environment, with a passion for the learning and development of students
- A flexible, highly energetic approach and the ability to thrive in a fast changing, collaborative, delivery culture
