School HR Manager

Role Overview

The Role

• Lead full-cycle recruitment for all school roles with the Principal and school leadership team.
• Provide employee-relations advice, coaching, and mediation to managers and staff.
• Oversee payroll inputs, contract renewals, attendance management, and personnel file maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar Labour Law, MOEHE requirements, and Nord Anglia HR policies.
• Manage employee visa renewals, residency processes, and exit procedures.
• Coordinate annual appraisals and performance reviews, including goal setting and development planning.
• Partner with the Principal on workforce structure, compensation, and people priorities.
• Champion diversity, inclusion, and wellbeing across the school community.

Successful Candidate

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
• CIPD qualification is desirable.
• At least 5–7 years of HR generalist or management experience is required.
• School or service-led environment experience is preferred by the role description.
• Strong knowledge of Qatar Labour Law, employment legislation, and immigration processes is required.
• Experience managing high-volume recruitment and onboarding is required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including influence with senior leaders, are required.
• Strong organisation, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities are required.
• HR systems and data-management skills are required; SuccessFactors experience is advantageous.
• Cultural awareness, empathy, and ability to work in a diverse international setting are required.
