Role Overview
Compass International School Doha is recruiting an HR Manager in Doha, Qatar.
The role leads people management and delivers HR support for the school’s strategic and operational priorities.

The Role
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for all school roles with the Principal and school leadership team.
- Provide employee-relations advice, coaching, and mediation to managers and staff.
- Oversee payroll inputs, contract renewals, attendance management, and personnel file maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with Qatar Labour Law, MOEHE requirements, and Nord Anglia HR policies.
- Manage employee visa renewals, residency processes, and exit procedures.
- Coordinate annual appraisals and performance reviews, including goal setting and development planning.
- Partner with the Principal on workforce structure, compensation, and people priorities.
- Champion diversity, inclusion, and wellbeing across the school community.
Successful Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- CIPD qualification is desirable.
- At least 5–7 years of HR generalist or management experience is required.
- School or service-led environment experience is preferred by the role description.
- Strong knowledge of Qatar Labour Law, employment legislation, and immigration processes is required.
- Experience managing high-volume recruitment and onboarding is required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including influence with senior leaders, are required.
- Strong organisation, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities are required.
- HR systems and data-management skills are required; SuccessFactors experience is advantageous.
- Cultural awareness, empathy, and ability to work in a diverse international setting are required.
