Role overview
Voyago is hiring part-time School Bus Drivers in Kitchener and Waterloo for the 2026/2027 school year.
The role includes dedicated school routes and Route Support Driver assignments across the region.
Drivers help transport students safely and provide a reliable, respectful passenger experience.
Driver responsibilities
- Transport students safely to and from school and prioritize safety during boarding, travel, and exiting.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report mechanical or safety concerns.
- Keep buses clean and sanitized, including fueling and basic upkeep.
- Complete Hours of Service reports and required documentation.
- Address student behaviour issues professionally and according to company procedures.
- Participate in ongoing training and demonstrate patience, professionalism, and care.
Candidate requirements
- Hold a valid minimum full G class driver's licence for at least one year.
- A B or E class licence is not required initially because Voyago provides full training at no cost.
- Have a clean driving record and be able to obtain vulnerable sector screening.
- Know Kitchener, Waterloo, and surrounding areas.
