Role Description
Full-time, on-site School Bus Driver role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The role safely transports students to and from school and school-related activities using designated routes and schedules.
Responsibilities
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, orderly bus interior.
- Follow traffic and safety regulations and ensure safe student boarding and disembarking.
- Supervise students, promote positive behavior, and manage routine behavior issues fairly and consistently.
- Work with school staff and families regarding student safety and transport concerns.
- Complete required logs and reports.
Qualifications
- Professional driving skills, truck driving experience, and a valid CDL Class B or equivalent heavy vehicle license are required.
- Defensive driving skills, a clean driving record, and knowledge of local traffic regulations are required.
- Basic English proficiency, communication skills, customer service skills, and the ability to manage groups of children are required.
- Physical fitness to assist students during boarding or disembarking is required.
- Previous school bus or student transport experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with Dubai, Dubailand, and surrounding routes is advantageous; additional local-community languages are an asset.
