Scope of Position Functions as a scheduling system and process expert.

Effectively manages and oversees planning and scheduling operations for large complex projects with project and market teams.

Manages program scheduling efforts and initiatives and resources to support those efforts.

Focuses on scheduling analysis, risk mitigation, and claims avoidance.

Develops and leads initiatives to better analyze and capture data pertaining to the development, progress, and change of the project schedule.

Leads training efforts regarding scheduling systems, processes, and utilization.

Mentors Scheduler I and II in professional growth, schedule competencies, and CPM analytical functions.

Job Responsibilities Demonstrate full competency in the system scheduling tools and best practices.

Manage scheduling and planning efforts, including scheduling processes during the project development and execution.

Manage schedule programs as required.

Comprehends fully and proactively foresees the impacts of all contractual and project requirements and is able to apply and communicate them to the project schedules and processes as necessary.

Develop, champion, and ensure schedule data integrity efforts in accordance with best practices and company standards.

Enhance and standardize the process of producing and distributing tailored schedule reporting to meet the project team’s needs that effectively communicates issues, status, health, and progress of the execution plan.

Optimize communication efforts regarding the schedule to project teams, subcontract partners, clients, and internal leadership.

Provide continuous improvement for the scheduling cycle to improve Haskell Policy.

Demonstrate expertise in change impact management and is able to support and guide project teams as changes arise.

Enhance, apply, and effectively utilize resource loading as required by Scheduling Department policy.

Full comprehension of schedule analysis, and disseminate schedule data as required to the project team and Director, Scheduling.

Develop and apply risk management best practices with schedule data and be able to proactively report findings to the project teams and Director, Scheduling.

Provide project summary reporting to Director, Scheduling to include but not limited to project health, overall status, and dashboard style reports.

Actively participate for continuous improvement for training in scheduling best practices, processes, and tools.

Responsible for group schedule integrity, quality, and best practices as necessary.

Manages project scheduling teams and scheduling programs.

Travel, as necessary, to lead and support scheduling efforts.

Engages in industry events and conferences.

Attend safety training for the project to ensure safety is executed properly while on project sites.

OSHA 10 training certification/ Haskell Safety Program.

Other duties which may be assigned as needed.

Supervises others.

Education & Years of Experience Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management preferred; 8- 10 years of scheduling construction management experience directly related to scheduling required.

Qualifications

Experience in a commercial contracting environment preferred. Expertise in Primavera scheduling software including cost/resource loading and analysis. Proficient analytic ability with excellent written and verbal communications skills required. Ability to organize and manage complex tasks, establish and meet schedules, and maintain focus on goals. Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, team members may be required to visit alternate locations, and therefore, must have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to do so. This position requires the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10 - 50 pounds. Requires good hand - eye coordination, arm, hand, and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The team member is frequently required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
