Job summary
Mahraj Group of Companies is seeking a Scaffolding Engineer with experience in scaffolding design, erection, inspection, and supervision.
The role ensures scaffolding systems are designed, erected, inspected, modified, and dismantled safely and according to project specifications and applicable standards.
Responsibilities
- Design scaffolding layouts, drawings, and technical calculations, and review requirements for construction and maintenance activities.
- Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and material take-offs.
- Supervise scaffolding erection, modification, inspection, and dismantling.
- Check structural stability, required loads, platforms, ladders, guardrails, toe boards, bracing, ties, and base supports.
- Coordinate with construction, mechanical, piping, civil, maintenance, and scaffold personnel.
- Conduct site inspections, enforce HSE requirements, and arrange corrective action for unsafe conditions.
- Maintain inspection records, tagging systems, and handover documentation.
- Monitor manpower, materials, productivity, and project progress.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and third-party inspectors when required.
- Ensure compliance with international standards and UAE safety requirements.
- Support estimation and quotation preparation for scaffolding projects.
Requirements
