Satellite Supervisor

CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT

The Satellite Supervisor is responsible for providing production and first level maintenance support for base operations. The Satellite supervisor supports the OTL in all matters related to managing the day-to-day priorities and ensuring safe delivery of business priorities.

The satellites are supported by in-field vessels with transfer systems installed. Whilst H has a small accommodation, all meals are provided by the vessels, and crew may be expected to be accommodated on the support vessels when off -shift. I Location has no accommodation and hence all personnel are accommodated on the support vessels. Crew change is completed by vessel transfer to main complex (usually B Location) and then Helicopter transfer to Doha.

The position is offshore based on a rotational scheme.

Education :

In line with industry requirements.

Certification:

Management of Major Emergencies.

Offshore Emergency Response Team Leader.

Advanced First Aid.

Basic Cause Tree Analysis.

Oil Spill Principles and Management Level 1.

Must have all industry standard pre-requisite certifications to allow travel offshore (Medical, BOSIET etc).

Experience:

Minimum 10 years’ experience in O&G production operations.

Supervisory Experience: Experience of leading others desirable (Lead Tech or Equivalent).

Management of Emergencies / Crisis Situations: Experience as part of wider response team desirable
