Job Description
The Senior Program Manager, Bids & Proposals, leads complex product and program initiatives through lifecycle phases A1 and A2 and supports transition to execution in phases B and C.
The role combines program management, product development, satellite communications technology, bid and proposal support, and cross-functional leadership.
The role interfaces with customers, suppliers, engineering, customer business teams, and program management organizations.
New Product Introduction
- Lead early lifecycle programs by establishing scope, objectives, risks, requirements, and execution readiness.
- Facilitate handoff to Execution Program Managers at Phase B and support continuity through Phase C as required.
- Drive alignment across Engineering, Operations, Business Development, and Program Management.
Bid and Proposal Support
- Support RDE recovery, RevCOGS, government-funded, and industry-sponsored pursuits.
- Develop program management strategies, estimates, schedules, and execution approaches that improve proposal competitiveness.
