Role Overview
The SAP Senior Functional Analyst provides functional leadership, design authority, governance, and continuous improvement for SAP business processes and financial applications across the Canadian firm.
The role is a senior member of the SAP Centre of Excellence and a principal functional advisor for SAP Finance and related business domains.
The position works with Finance, Procurement, HR, Operations, IT, vendors, and implementation partners to maintain a scalable, supportable, and auditable SAP platform.

The role
The SAP Senior Functional Analyst provides functional leadership, design authority, governance, and continuous improvement for SAP business processes and financial applications across the Canadian firm.
The role is a senior member of the SAP Centre of Excellence and a principal functional advisor for SAP Finance and related business domains.
The position works with Finance, Procurement, HR, Operations, IT, vendors, and implementation partners to maintain a scalable, supportable, and auditable SAP platform.
Key responsibilities
- Lead requirements workshops, business-process reviews, stakeholder consultations, and solution-design activities for enhancements, projects, upgrades, releases, and transformations.
- Review functional specifications, solution designs, and configuration approaches across SAP modules and related financial applications.
- Translate business requirements into sustainable solutions and assess business, regulatory, operational, and technology impacts.
- Govern testing strategy, business validation, deployment readiness, solution acceptance, and documentation.
- Maintain functional standards, configuration practices, process flows, controls, audit requirements, and design decisions.
- Lead root-cause analysis, corrective action, continuous improvement, SAP roadmap planning, and enhancement prioritization.
