Role overview
Seeking an experienced SAP programme leader for a major SAP S/4HANA upgrade and transformation programme.
The role covers assessment, business case development, implementation, cutover, go-live, and stabilisation.
This is a senior customer-side leadership role accountable across business teams, SAP, system integrators, and third-party partners.
Location and contract
- The role is based in the UK on a hybrid basis.
- The contract is expected to last 6–12 months, with potential extensions.
Key responsibilities
- Own programme scope, roadmap, budget, governance, benefits, strategy, funding, and investment approvals.
- Manage senior stakeholders across Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Technology.
- Govern system integrators, SAP, and third-party vendors.
- Establish governance, reporting, decision rights, RAID management, and escalation routes.
- Integrate business, functional, technical, data, testing, change, and operational workstreams.
- Oversee SAP RISE readiness and application, infrastructure, and integration dependencies.
- Lead test strategy, validation, cutover, go-live decision-making, and hypercare.
