Sap Materials Management Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Gather business requirements and translate them into SAP MM.
• Configure and support SAP MM modules (procurement, inventory management, material master, valuation, and account determination).
• Support logistics processes including inbound/outbound deliveries, shipping, and transportation.
• Work on integration touchpoints with FI, SD, WM, EWM, and PP modules.
• Lead workshops with business users to define process improvements and system enhancements.
• Develop functional specifications for custom developments and collaborate with ABAP developers.
• Conduct system testing, UAT, training, and post-go-live support.
• Provide expertise in end-to-end supply chain process optimization and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, IT, or related field.
• 8+ years of SAP MM consulting experience including at least 2 full life-cycle implementations.
• Strong hands-on configuration knowledge of:
• Procurement (P2P, contracts, purchase orders)
• Inventory Management (goods movements, stock transfers, reservations)
• Material Master data and Valuation
• Logistics Execution (inbound/outbound delivery, shipment processing)
• Knowledge of integration with FI (invoice verification), SD (sales orders, deliveries), WM/EWM, and PP.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
