About the Role
Elk Valley Resources (Glencore) seeks an experienced SAP Functional Analyst to design, configure, and support SAP S/4HANA solutions for mining operations. You will partner with business stakeholders, configure modules like FI/CO, MM, PM, SD, PS, and support testing and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders across mining operations, supply chain, maintenance, and finance to understand requirements and design SAP S/4HANA solutions
- Develop and maintain functional specifications, configuration documents, process flows, and related artifacts
- Configure SAP S/4HANA modules such as FI/CO, MM, PM, SD, PS to support mine site operations
- Coordinate and support testing activities including test planning, scenario development, defect triage, and UAT
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure effective integration and FRICEW development
- Support system enhancements, release cycles, and change management activities
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide training, guidance and knowledge transfer to end users
- Ensure adherence to SAP best practices, data integrity standards, internal controls, and mining industry compliance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 7 years of hands on experience as an SAP Functional Analyst, including configuration and support in S/4HANA
- Strong functional knowledge in at least one of: FI/CO, MM, PM, SD, PS or related areas supporting mining or heavy industry
- Experience supporting asset intensive environments (mining, oil & gas, energy, or manufacturing)
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into functional designs and system configurations
- Solid understanding of end to end business processes
- Experience with testing cycles, defect management, and UAT coordination
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent

- Based in Calgary corporate office with compressed workweek and alternating Fridays off.

Salary
- Salary range: 108,000 133,000 CAD /year
