SAP FICO Program Manager

About the Role

Education and Experience

• B.Tech or BE is preferred.
• MBA, CA, CMA, or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
• The role requires 10 to 15 years of experience in finance transformation, SAP Finance consulting, enterprise planning solutions, or related domains.
• At least one end-to-end SAP Analytics Cloud Planning implementation is mandatory.
• Strong hands-on SAP FICO and SAP S/4HANA Finance expertise is required.
• Industry experience in FMCG, agrochemicals, consumer products, manufacturing, or similar sectors is preferred.

Functional Skills

• Strong understanding of FP&A, including budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, management reporting, scenario modeling, profitability analysis, and financial performance management.
• Experience in finance process transformation and business process re-engineering.
• Understanding of finance analytics, planning models, and enterprise reporting frameworks.
• Anaplan, SAP BPC, Oracle EPM, or similar planning solutions are advantageous.
• AI-enabled finance, predictive forecasting, and finance automation knowledge is advantageous.

Finance Transformation

• Drive finance transformation initiatives aligned with business priorities.
• Improve financial processes through digitization, automation, standardization, and analytics.
• Promote modern finance practices and adoption of digital finance solutions.

SAP Finance Solutions

• Lead SAP Finance processes covering GL, AP, AR, asset accounting, cost and profit center accounting, product costing, internal orders, COPA or margin analysis, and financial close and reporting.
• Translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions and process improvements.
• Partner with SAP functional and technical teams on delivery and continuous improvement.

Planning and Performance

• Lead the design, implementation, and adoption of SAP Analytics Cloud Planning.
• Transform budgeting, forecasting, annual operating planning, management reporting, and profitability analysis.
• Implement driver-based planning, rolling forecasts, scenario planning, what-if simulations, and financial performance management.
• Connect financial, sales, manufacturing, and supply chain plans through integrated planning processes.

Analytics and Stakeholders

• Develop finance dashboards and KPI frameworks with Data and Analytics teams.
• Promote self-service reporting and analytics and identify automation and control improvements.
• Lead workshops, requirements gathering, solution design, and partner management.
• Influence senior stakeholders and align business objectives with technology solutions.

Change Management

• Drive organizational adoption of finance transformation initiatives.
• Develop training, communication, and change-management plans.
• Support transition from legacy processes to digital finance platforms.
