Role Overview
Join EY's GDS Integration practice as an SAP CPI implementation specialist.
Deliver SAP CPI integrations and support customers across on-premise and cloud application landscapes.
Work with business and functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather business and functional specifications and deliver solutions that meet the stated needs.
- Interpret requirements and develop technical specification documentation.
- Develop custom integrations and implement standard integration packages.
- Use SAP Cloud Connector and CPI cockpit for integration development and management.
- Provide SAP CPI support and perform root-cause analysis for recurring or critical issues.
- Perform unit, system, and integration testing and document results.
Required Qualifications
- A college degree in a related technology field or comparable job experience.
- Approximately 9 or more years of experience in a development role with progressively complex responsibilities.
- Experience with SAP CPI, SAP PI/PO, or comparable business process orchestration products.
- Experience gathering requirements, analyzing landscapes, designing solutions, and developing interfaces.
- Experience building integration strategies for on-premise and cloud application systems.
Technical Skills
- Experience with SFTP, SOAP, REST, IDOC, ODATA, JDBC, and SuccessFactors adapters.
- Knowledge of Java, SAP Cloud Connector, CPI cockpit, SAP CPI support activities, and integration best practices.
- Knowledge of security concepts including SSL and PGP encryption.
- Experience with Groovy scripting is preferred.
Additional Qualifications
- SAP certification is a plus.
- Strong business communication and leadership skills are expected.
- Experience delivering projects for customers and working across global integration practices is valued.
