SAP ABAP CDS Developer / Senior Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain SAP applications using ABAP and modern ABAP development practices.
• Develop and optimize ABAP CDS Views, AMDP, and HANA SQL-based solutions.
• Work on SAP S/4HANA implementation and development projects.
• Develop solutions using SAP BTP and modern SAP development frameworks.
• Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and integration components.
• Develop and enhance SAP Fiori/SAPUI5 applications, OData services, and Fiori Elements.
• Work with the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model.
• Design and implement integrations using BAPI, BADI, IDOC, RFC, User Exits, Web Services, and APIs.
• Perform code reviews, debugging, performance tuning, and application optimization.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Functional Consultants, and technical teams.
• Follow Agile, CI/CD, automated testing, and secure coding practices.
• Ensure SAP authorization checks and security practices in ABAP developments.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong expertise in SAP ABAP is mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with ABAP CDS Views is mandatory.
• Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation is mandatory.
• Experience with SAP BTP is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of ABAP Objects and modern ABAP syntax is mandatory.
• Experience with AMDP and HANA SQL programming is mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with ABAP performance tuning and optimization is mandatory.
• Experience with SAP integrations using BAPI, BADI, IDOC, RFC, APIs, and Web Services is mandatory.
