What you will bring

• Experience operating machines with coaching and following machine-operation safety and quality standards.
• Ability to read and write and communicate fluently in the site's language of communication.
• Ability to collaborate in a diverse work environment.
• High school certificate; MS Office knowledge is preferred.
• At least one year of experience in similar positions.
• Availability to work all shifts.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and work from elevated ladder platforms.
• Previous sanitation experience and knowledge of GMP, safety, and WHMIS are desired.
• Clear English communication, reliability, good attendance, attention to safety and GMP, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to train or cross-train others, adapt quickly, learn new tasks, work under pressure, and multitask.

Responsibilities and accountabilities

• Clean and sanitize processing, packaging, and warehouse areas of the facility.
• Clean and sanitize production equipment while following strict lockout/tag-out procedures.
• Perform overhead cleaning from ladder platforms, including vacuuming, brushing, and washing building structures and equipment.
• Sweep and mop floors and promote good housekeeping and manufacturing practices.
• Maintain personal hygiene and comply with plant GMP requirements for uniforms, hair nets, and beard nets.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Health and safety

• Apply HSE policies throughout the facility to prevent injury, illness, and property damage.
• Understand facility HSE risks and control measures and act on imminent dangers, hazards, non-conformities, and incidents.
• Adhere to and participate in HSE programs and controls, including behavior-based safety, defect management, and incident management.
• Wear and distribute PPE as required.

Food safety

• Follow plant HACCP and GMP requirements and use tools that meet company food safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area while supporting company GMP, safety, and Mondelēz policies.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and local legislation.
• Report quality and food safety issues immediately to the Team Captain or Manager.

Administrative duties

• Complete sanitation and process records and documentation accurately and on time.

Salary and benefits

• The expected annualized salary range is CAD $51,850 to $64,813, depending on experience, skills, education, and budget.
• The position is eligible for a target bonus of 5%, with possible overachievement, plus potential shift premiums and overtime.
