Sandblasts structural steel Clean and prepare skids and material for painting Operate and maintain sandblasting equipment Move fabricated materials to designated areas Perform daily maintenance and minor repairs on equipment Clean skids and material for shipping Inspect final product, ensuring conformance to specifications Ensures housekeeping is completed in daily assigned area. Comply with standards and procedures of the PTW health and safety manual and Occupational Health and Safety regulation EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Minimum 2 years' experience sandblasting and/or painting in an industrial capacity. Knowledge of abrasive blasting techniques and equipment. Understanding of surface preparation standards. Ability to read work instructions and technical drawings Strong attention to detail and quality. Good physical fitness and manual dexterity Awareness of workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations. SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license. Must have CSA approved safety boots. Must be authorized to work in Canada. Must have own transportation as location is not accessible with public transportation.
