About the Role

- Lead solution design during new business pursuits, working with Sales to shape deals
- Translate complex business challenges into cross cloud Salesforce solutions
- Conduct discovery and architecture workshops with C level and senior stakeholders
- Craft technical solution narratives and visual architectures for RFPs and client presentations
- Articulate Horizontal Digital's Salesforce capabilities through demos, proposals, and proof of concepts
- Support go to market campaigns and practice growth through thought leadership
- Serve as a bridge between pre sales and delivery, ensuring proposed architecture is achievable
- Collaborate with Technical Architects, Data Architects, and Integration teams
- Guide clients through best practices, balancing innovation with operational stability
Requirements
- 7+ years of client facing consulting and/or pre sales experience in the Salesforce ecosystem
- Proven track record in solutioning and selling multi cloud Salesforce transformations
- Strong business acumen with ability to engage C level executives
- Salesforce certifications across Sales, Service, or Marketing Cloud (Consultant or Architect level preferred)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

The Opportunity
- As a Presales Solution Architect Salesforce, you'll act as the technical seller and trusted advisor in strategic enterprise engagements across Salesforce's ecosystem.
- You'll balance 50% sales and strategy with 50% technical delivery oversight.
What You'll Do
- Lead solution design during new business pursuits, working hand in hand with Sales to shape deals and position Horizontal as the preferred Salesforce partner.
- Translate complex business challenges into cross cloud Salesforce solutions (Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing, Data, Analytics, and Industry Clouds).
- Conduct discovery and architecture workshops with C level and senior stakeholders, identifying transformation opportunities and value realization paths.
- Craft technical solution narratives and visual architectures for RFPs and client presentations.
- Clearly articulate Horizontal Digital's Salesforce capabilities, offerings, and differentiators through demos, proposals, and proof of concepts.
- Support go to market (GTM) campaigns and practice growth through thought leadership and enablement on emerging Salesforce technologies.
- Serve as a bridge between pre sales and delivery, ensuring the proposed architecture is achievable, scalable, and outcome driven.
- Collaborate with Technical Architects, Data Architects, and Integration teams to align solution components and reduce risk.
- Guide clients through best practices, balancing innovation with operational stability.
What You Bring
- 7+ years of client facing consulting and/or pre sales experience in the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Proven track record in solutioning and selling multi cloud Salesforce transformations (Marketing Cloud, Sales/Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, CRM Analytics, etc.).
- Strong business acumen with the ability to engage C level executives in outcome driven discussions.
- Salesforce certifications across Sales, Service, or Marketing Cloud (Consultant or Architect level preferred).
- Strong communication skills — capable of simplifying technical complexity and telling compelling solution stories.
- Entrepreneurial mindset — proactive, adaptable, and energized by fast paced, high impact client work.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
