You will bring deep Salesforce platform expertise, strong Apex and LWC engineering skills, modern integration experience, and the platform maturity to balance delivery velocity with long-term architectural health.
As we expand the use of Salesforce AI, this role will also play an important part in the design, development, governance, testing, and deployment of Agentforce solutions across the firm.
Own end-to-end solution design for Salesforce initiatives — evaluating declarative vs. programmatic approaches, assessing governor limit implications, integration dependencies, security considerations, and long-term maintainability.
Lead technical discovery with the Bengaluru PO/BA and US stakeholders — translating complex business requirements into well-structured, scalable Salesforce solutions before development begins.
Define and enforce Salesforce development standards across the team — coding conventions, test class quality standards, Flow best practices, naming conventions, API standards, security practices, and metadata organization in source control.
Review and approve code and configuration changes from the Junior Salesforce Developer — providing structured, actionable feedback that builds their skills over time.
Lead Salesforce release planning — coordinating sandbox environments, CI/CD deployments, pre-release testing, regression testing, and production release governance.
Proactively identify technical debt, platform risks, deprecated functionality, API dependencies, and scaling constraints — producing a prioritized remediation backlog and advocating for appropriate remediation.
Design and build complex Flows, Apex triggers, batch Apex, queueable Apex, scheduled processes, and asynchronous processing — handling sophisticated business process automation while balancing performance and governor limits.
Build and maintain advanced Lightning Web Components — including components with complex state management, Lightning Data Service, wire adapters, server-side Apex controllers, and integrations with external systems.
Design reusable Salesforce services, components, and automation frameworks that reduce technical debt and improve development consistency.
Lead Sales Cloud data model design — custom object architecture, junction objects, roll-up strategies, relationship models, and schema decisions that maintain performance and scalability.
Build solutions using Salesforce security and sharing architecture, including roles, sharing rules, permission sets, permission set groups, restriction rules, and programmatic sharing where appropriate.
Design, configure, test, deploy, and continuously improve Agentforce agents that support business processes and user workflows.
Partner with business stakeholders to identify high-value Agentforce use cases and translate them into secure, measurable, and scalable AI solutions.
Configure Agentforce topics, instructions, actions, and grounding strategies to enable agents to reason and take appropriate actions across Salesforce.
Build custom Agentforce actions using Flow, Apex, and other Salesforce platform capabilities where out-of-the-box actions do not meet business requirements.
Develop and manage Prompt Builder templates and reusable AI capabilities that support Agentforce and other Salesforce AI use cases.
Integrate Agentforce with Salesforce records, Flows, Apex services, APIs, and external systems to enable agents to execute business processes safely.
Implement appropriate security, permissions, data access, and governance controls for Agentforce to ensure agents operate within authorized boundaries.
Establish testing and quality-assurance practices for Agentforce, including evaluation of agent responses, actions, grounding, accuracy, and business outcomes before production deployment.
Monitor Agentforce usage, performance, adoption, errors, and consumption to continuously improve agent effectiveness and manage platform resources.
Stay current on Salesforce Agentforce, Prompt Builder, Data 360/Data Cloud, Einstein, and Salesforce AI platform capabilities and advise on opportunities for responsible adoption.
Own Service Cloud architecture and configuration — designing case management models, queue structures, assignment rules, escalation logic, and SLA frameworks that support client service and internal operations.
Build and maintain Service Cloud Flows and automation — case routing, status lifecycle management, SLA milestone tracking, notifications, and closure procedures that reduce manual effort and improve resolution time.
Configure and manage the Service Console — page layouts, quick actions, macros, Lightning components, and productivity features that give service teams the tools to resolve cases efficiently.
Implement and maintain entitlements, milestones, and SLA policies where appropriate.
Integrate Service Cloud with external systems and intake channels through supported Salesforce APIs, Email-to-Case, Web-to-Case, Experience Cloud, and other appropriate integration patterns.
Build Service Cloud analytics covering case volume, resolution time, SLA compliance, queue health, trends, and operational performance.
Own the architecture and development of Experience Cloud sites — designing portal structures, navigation models, page layouts, and digital experiences for client-facing and internal stakeholder audiences.
Configure member profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and guest user policies — ensuring each audience sees the appropriate data, content, and functionality.
Build custom Experience Cloud components using LWC — delivering dynamic, data-driven portal experiences that integrate with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Agentforce, Knowledge, and other Salesforce capabilities.
Implement Experience Cloud integrations with external identity providers — supporting SSO, registration handlers, and authentication flows that meet security and access management standards.
Design and maintain Knowledge capabilities within Experience Cloud where appropriate.
Monitor and optimize Experience Cloud site performance, component efficiency, security, and reliability.
Own Salesforce data governance framework — defining data ownership, field-level standards, picklist governance, naming conventions, documentation requirements, and data stewardship processes.
Design and implement a comprehensive duplicate management strategy — configuring matching rules, duplicate rules, and remediation processes that maintain a clean, trusted CRM dataset at scale.
Establish and enforce data validation architecture — validation rules, required fields, formula-based alerts, Flow-driven data hygiene checks, and automated exception management.
Lead data migration and enrichment initiatives — designing field mappings, transformation logic, reconciliation procedures, and post-load validation processes.
Build data governance dashboards and exception reports — giving leadership visibility into data completeness, stale records, missing critical information, duplicates, and data quality trends.
Partner with IT security and compliance functions on Salesforce data governance — including field-level security, data classification, retention, auditability, and appropriate AI data access.
Ensure Agentforce and other AI capabilities operate against trusted, appropriately governed, and permission-aware Salesforce data.
Own the Salesforce DevOps pipeline — Salesforce CLI, VS Code, Git-based source control, and Azure DevOps CI/CD for automated deployment, validation, testing, and release management.
Maintain a healthy sandbox strategy with clear promotion paths, refresh schedules, testing standards, and hotfix governance.
Conduct regular platform health reviews — storage consumption, API usage, Flow error rates, Apex job performance, integration logs, deprecated API usage, security configuration, and system performance.
Maintain Salesforce security posture — permission architecture, least-privilege access, field-level security, sharing rules, role hierarchy design, connected apps, and integration-user security.
Mentor and coach the Junior Salesforce Developer — pairing on complex problems, conducting structured code reviews, and investing in their growth toward senior-level capability.
Produce and maintain comprehensive technical documentation — including data dictionaries, integration architecture diagrams, API inventories, solution designs, deployment runbooks, Agentforce documentation, and release notes.
Monitor Salesforce product and feature retirements and proactively develop remediation plans to avoid disruption to business-critical functionality.
5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead developer capacity.
Deep Sales Cloud expertise — complex Flow, Apex triggers, Batch/Queueable Apex, LWC, data modeling, security architecture, and advanced automation.
Strong Salesforce integration architecture experience using REST APIs, Bulk APIs, Platform Events, Change Data Capture, Named Credentials, OAuth, and other modern integration patterns.
Demonstrated experience modernizing or maintaining Salesforce integrations as API versions, authentication requirements, and platform capabilities evolve.
