The Salesforce Business Analyst analyzes, transforms, and optimizes business processes through the Salesforce platform.
The role acts as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to align Salesforce solutions with business needs and organizational objectives.
Day-to-day responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and challenge business requirements with stakeholders.
- Facilitate discovery workshops and document processes, functional requirements, and use cases.
- Translate business needs into Salesforce solutions and help define KPIs.
- Contribute to complex, large-scale Salesforce implementations and IT integrations.
- Use Salesforce, Pega, or other workflow solutions for process optimization and automation.
- Support discovery, strategy, assessment, roadmaps, change management, and CRM alignment.
- Collaborate with executives, internal and offshore teams, vendors, and partners on Agile projects.
Platform and process expertise
- Strong Salesforce experience supporting business process transformation.
- Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud or Campaign Management, and Financial Services Cloud.
- Knowledge of BPM/BPA, process reengineering, workflow solutions, Agile delivery, and Six Sigma principles.
- Understanding of sales, customer service, client onboarding, contact centre operations, and customer service environments.
Industry and language requirements
- Experience in regulated industries such as banking, wealth management, insurance, retirement services, KYC, AML, risk, fraud, or disputes.
- Proficient English is required for daily communication with employees and managers outside Quebec.
- French proficiency is listed among the language skills.
Preferred qualification
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is an additional advantage.
