Role Overview
Sales Specialist role for the Motion business within ABB’s IEC Low Voltage Division.
The position is responsible for motors or drives sales, market development, order growth, revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Work Model and Location
- The role contributes to the IEC Low Voltage Division based in Hyderabad, India.
- The stated work model is onsite, and domestic travel is mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop customers, generate leads, and convert orders.
- Communicate delivery times, payment terms, and general conditions to customers.
- Execute marketing activities and communicate the value proposition.
- Update visit reports and opportunities in real time.
- Develop new market opportunities and present to stakeholders and customers.
- Manage sales administration and support cash collection and project management when needed.
Qualifications
- 5–8 years of experience in motors or drives sales.
- Full-time engineering degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Domestic travel is mandatory.
- Fluency in English and Hindi is required; Telugu is additional.
- Sales activities must comply with company values and ethics.
Business Context
The IEC Low Voltage Division provides energy-efficient low-voltage motors, including IE5 synchronous reluctance motor solutions.
The division serves demanding applications through global delivery, domain expertise, and rugged designs.
