Responsibilities
- Drive demand for assigned portfolios by partnering closely with the team to achieve annual sales targets across product lines, increase market share within existing accounts, expand product mix, and acquire new qualified prospects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with established end user accounts by collaborating with the Distributor and Distribution Development Manager (DDM) to effectively address end user needs and concerns.
- Develop a deep understanding of current and emerging end user needs through a consultative selling approach that builds trust and identifies additional growth opportunities.
- Implement tactical programs (e.g., “try me” initiatives) to influence end users to convert from competitive brands.
- Maintain ongoing communication and alignment with the DDM to ensure consistent execution and fulfillment of end user requirements.
Requirements
- 2+ years’ sales experience
- High school diploma or greater education
- Ability to travel 50% +
- Candidate must reside in Calgary or Edmonton, Alberta
- B.S. in Sales, Business, Marketing, or similar field (preferred)
- Familiarity with Customer Relations Management software (Salesforce.com, etc.) (preferred)
- Account Management Experience (preferred)
- Construction industry experience and/or knowledge of door hardware product lines preferred; electronic sales experience a plus

Position Overview
- dormakaba is seeking a Sales Representative (End User Consultant) based remotely in the Calgary or Edmonton, Alberta area.
- This individual is responsible for creating demand for dormakaba products within the targeted markets, approaching customers consultatively, asking informed questions, probing to identify unspoken needs, and aligning those findings with catered solutions that address customer needs.
Total Compensation Range
- $75,000 $85,000 annually plus a generous Sales Incentive Plan.
