- Identify, prospect, and pursue new business opportunities to expand client portfolio and achieve sales targets
- Build and maintain strong, long term relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and retention
- Prepare accurate quotations and tailored commercial proposals based on client requirements; negotiate rates effectively
- Collaborate internally with Operations Team to guarantee smooth execution of shipments and quick resolution of client inquiries
- Conduct market research to monitor industry trends, identify potential clients, and stay ahead of competitors
- Maintain accurate sales records, track performance metrics, and utilize CRM systems
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of proven sales experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or shipping
- Solid understanding of international trade, transport operations, and freight forwarding processes across sea, air, and land logistics
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office tools
- Previous hands on experience in operations within a freight forwarding company (preferred)
- Knowledge of Dubai and GCC logistics market (preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred)

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications & Experience
- 3 to 5 years of proven sales experience specifically within freight forwarding, logistics, or shipping.
- Solid understanding of international trade, transport operations, and freight forwarding processes across sea, air, and land logistics (including pricing, documentation, and Incoterms).
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability in client relationship management, from cold prospecting to long term account development.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, MS Office tools, and basic sales data reporting.
- Previous hands on experience in operations within a freight forwarding company is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the Dubai and GCC logistics market, including local shipping regulations.
