Role Overview
The End User Sales Representative sells door-opening solutions to commercial end users in the Minneapolis market.
The role focuses on relationship and technical solution selling across commercial construction, multifamily, and property-management segments.
Primary contacts include facility, security, IT, construction, planning, and executive decision makers.
Responsibilities
- Call on facility managers, security directors, IT directors, and construction and planning departments within end-user accounts.
- Partner with wholesalers, integrators, locksmiths, and distributors to support end-user account growth.
- Develop short- and long-term sales plans and classify each client's sales potential.
- Build trusted client networks and relationships with decision makers and influencers.
- Sell opening solutions consultatively to diverse audiences.
- Prospect, profile, qualify, identify client needs, and present solutions.
Qualifications
- At least 2 to 3 years of sales experience is required.
- Building-material or construction-related sales experience is preferred.
- A college or university degree is preferred, particularly in architectural design, engineering, construction science, or construction management.
- A minimum high school or GED diploma is required when work experience is used instead of the preferred degree.
- Candidates must be able to read specifications and facility standards and demonstrate industry-related technical and sales aptitude.
- Microsoft Office proficiency and experience using and maintaining CRM tools are required.

- The role requires strong communication, active listening, negotiation, organization, follow-up, time management, and project-management skills.
- The representative must be self-motivated, able to work independently, and committed to teamwork.
Travel and Work Setting
- Travel of up to 50% within the territory is required to meet customer needs.
- Responsibilities may be performed from a home office or while traveling.
- The role requires lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds of sample and display material for sales presentations.
Compensation
- The stated wage range is $75,000 to $100,000 and may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, training, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and business needs.
- The compensation package may include a bonus, 401(k) plan, education assistance, and company car.
