Overview

**ShopChat** is looking for a highly motivated and professional **Sales Representative** to join our growing team.

We are seeking candidates with strong experience in **e-commerce marketplaces**, **merchant acquisition**, and building relationships with **companies, brands, and business owners**.

The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to identify new business opportunities, approach potential merchants, present platform value clearly, and convert leads into long-term partners.

This role is critical to expanding ShopChat’s merchant network and strengthening our position in the market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, approach, and onboard new merchants, sellers, and companies to the ShopChat platform
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners, decision-makers, and key stakeholders
  • Present ShopChat’s value proposition, business model, and growth opportunities to potential partners
  • Conduct market research to identify high-potential merchants and target sectors
  • Negotiate commercial terms and close partnership agreements professionally
  • Follow up consistently with prospects and manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to onboarding
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth merchant activation and account setup
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and contribute to overall business growth
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, meetings, pipeline progress, and closed deals

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a **Sales Representative**, **Business Development Executive**, or similar role
  • Strong background in **e-commerce**, **marketplaces**, **merchant acquisition**, or **B2B sales**
  • Experience dealing with merchants, retailers, suppliers, and companies
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, pipeline management, and closing techniques
  • Target-driven, proactive, and confident in approaching new business opportunities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Professional presentation and strong commercial mindset

Preferred Qualifications

  • Existing network of merchants, sellers, or business contacts
  • Experience in marketplace platforms, retail technology, or digital commerce solutions
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting tools
  • Arabic and English communication skills are a strong advantage
