Role Summary
The coordinator owns the order lifecycle from client RFQ through sourcing, costing, quotation, purchasing, shipment, delivery, invoicing, and payment follow-up.
The role coordinates principal suppliers, alternative vendors, freight forwarders, warehouse staff, clients, and management.
Experience and Education
- The posting requests a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field.
- The posting states minimum experience of 2 years in procurement, sales order, and logistics coordination.
- Experience in industrial equipment, spare parts, fasteners, or technical products trading is an advantage.
RFQ, Sourcing, and Costing
- Analyze client RFQs for specifications, quantities, and delivery requirements.
- Obtain supplier and vendor pricing and lead times for standard and non-standard products.
- Prepare costing sheets covering unit cost, freight, duties, margin, and related inputs.
- Obtain management approval and issue formal client quotations within agreed turnaround times.
