About the Role
Cummins India seeks a Sales Operations Coordinator to support the sales force through reporting, system administration, and data analysis. The role also involves market visits, distributor coordination, and driving secondary sales.

Responsibilities
- Consolidates and distributes sales reports where reporting tasks are repetitive and well documented, under limited supervision
- Runs repetitive and ad hoc tasks on systems and tools (e.g. salesforce, WWSPS, BMS, Portal)
- Conducts ad hoc and repetitive analyses on external sources (e.g. Polk, Dodge, RigDig, etc.)
- Conduct daily market visits to retail outlets, mechanics, reborer and key accounts to ensure product availability and visibility
- Liaise closely with distributors to ensure timely stock replenishment and achievement of Primary Sales targets
- Work directly with retailers to generate demand and drive Secondary Sales (Distributor to Retailer)
- Maintain detailed records of sales, stocks, and market feedback using Microsoft Excel
- Create professional presentations in PowerPoint or Excel to review sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity
Requirements
- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience
- Requires some work experience and intermediate level knowledge obtained through training or on the job experience
- Hands on experience with Microsoft Excel (v lookups, pivot tables) and PowerPoint for reporting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to hit targets and a deep understanding of the distribution model (Primary vs. Secondary sales)
- Must be willing to travel extensively within the assigned territory for market visits
