About the Role

  • We are looking for an experienced international Urea Sales Manager to drive sales and trading activities across global markets.
  • The role combines commercial business development, product management, customer relationship management and market intelligence.
  • The ideal candidate has an established customer network, strong knowledge of global urea markets, and the ability to independently originate and execute profitable business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow sales of urea across international markets in line with the company’s commercial strategy.
  • Originate, negotiate, and execute international urea transactions.
  • Identify and develop new customers, distributors, and strategic trading partners.
  • Manage and expand relationships with existing customers to maximize long term business.
  • Monitor global supply demand dynamics, pricing, freight markets, and competitor activities.
  • Prepare market intelligence, pricing recommendations, and commercial forecasts for management.
  • Coordinate closely with Logistics, Sales Operations, Finance, and other teams to ensure timely contract execution.
  • Manage customer credit exposure, monitor receivables, and support timely collections.
  • Resolve commercial issues and customer claims while maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, customer meetings, and trade events.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of international fertilizer sales and trading experience.
  • Existing network of international buyers, distributors, and trading partners.
  • Strong understanding of fertilizer pricing, tender business, contract structures (FOB/CFR/CIF), and international trade terms (Incoterms).
  • Experience with export logistics, vessel shipments, and containerized fertilizer shipments.
  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple international markets simultaneously.
  • Fluent English is required. Russian is a strong advantage.
  • Based in Dubai or willing to relocate.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in commodity trading.
  • Strong knowledge of the project.
  • Experience working with producers, traders, or international fertilizer distributors.

  • High contract execution quality with minimal operational issues.
  • Strong collection performance and effective credit risk management.
