Overview

Sales Manager – Corporate Travel & Tourism (UAE)

Objective

To drive **corporate revenue growth**, manage the sales team, and improve overall **profitability and conversion performance**.

Key Responsibilities1. **Revenue Generation

  • Drive **monthly and quarterly revenue targets**
  • Personally **close high-value corporate accounts**
  • Build and expand pipeline across:
  • Corporate clients
  • Government entities
  • Event & MICE clients

2. **Corporate Business Development

  • Identify and secure **long-term corporate contracts**
  • Develop relationships with:
  • HR / Procurement teams
  • Event managers
  • Lead **tenders, RFQs, and proposals**

3. **Sales Team Management

  • Manage and supervise **2 sales executives**
  • Set:
  • Monthly targets
  • KPIs (leads, conversions, revenue)
  • Monitor performance and enforce accountability
  • Coach team on **closing deals**

4. **Pipeline & Performance Management

  • Track:
  • Lead → conversion ratio
  • Revenue per client
  • Sales cycle duration
  • Conduct **weekly pipeline reviews**
  • Improve **conversion rates and deal size**

5. **Profitability & Pricing Strategy

  • Ensure deals are **profitable**
  • Manage:
  • Discounts
  • Supplier negotiations (hotels, partners)
  • Optimize margins on group and corporate bookings
  • 6. **Collaboration with Marketing**
  • Guide marketing on:
  • Target segments
  • Campaign direction
  • Ensure leads generated are **high quality and convertible**

Requirements Must Have

  • **5–10+ years in travel/tourism sales (UAE preferred)**
  • Proven **B2B / corporate sales experience**
  • Demonstrated **revenue ownership**
  • Experience managing a **sales team**
  • Strong network in:
  • Corporate / MICE / government sectors

Strong Plus

  • Existing **client portfolio**
  • Experience in **DMC / travel agency**
  • Experience handling **large group travel or events**
