Position Summary

  • The Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing SAMCO's sales and business development activities across Saudi Arabia, with a strategic focus on Schneider Electric's product portfolio for project based sales.
  • The role includes direct responsibility for achieving annual sales targets, managing the sales team, increasing market share, and expanding SAMCO's presence within the electrical power distribution project market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement annual sales and business development plans for Schneider Electric's LV and MV product portfolio.
  • Achieve assigned annual sales revenue targets and gross profit targets.
  • Identify, track, and pursue new project opportunities across all regions of Saudi Arabia.
  • Develop and maintain a robust project sales pipeline with clear visibility on bid stages.
  • Secure vendor registrations from key contractors and obtain consultant approvals.
  • Lead sales activities throughout Riyadh, Jeddah, Khobar, and all operational regions.
  • Establish and nurture strong professional relationships with consultants, contractors, developers, and government entities.
  • Promote and sell Schneider Electric products including MV Switchgear, LV Switchgear, Package Substations, and EcoStruxure solutions.
  • Manage and lead the sales team, including setting individual sales quotas and conducting performance reviews.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and project announcements to adjust sales strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (mandatory).
  • MBA or equivalent business qualification (preferred).
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in electrical manufacturing, power distribution, or industrial sales.
  • Minimum 5 years in a sales leadership role with direct responsibility for managing a sales team.
  • Proven track record of successfully selling Schneider Electric products to contractors and consultants in Saudi Arabia.
  • Strong existing professional network within the Saudi contractor and consultant community.
