Role Description

  • Full time, on site role based in Gurgaon.
  • Responsible for driving new business growth and expanding existing accounts for Ascent's RegTech and GRC solutions.
  • Managing end to end sales cycle including lead generation, prospecting, qualification, solution positioning, product demonstrations, proposal development, and contract negotiation.
  • Working closely with marketing, product, and pre sales teams to create targeted sales campaigns, respond to RFPs/RFIs, and tailor value propositions.
  • Building and maintaining a robust sales pipeline, conducting client meetings and presentations, forecasting revenue, reporting on sales performance, and maintaining accurate CRM records.
  • Staying up to date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory developments.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in B2B enterprise software sales, preferably in RegTech, GRC, risk management, financial services technology, or related domains.
  • Strong skills in consultative selling, solution selling, and account management.
  • Ability to develop and manage a structured sales pipeline, including prospecting, qualification, forecasting, and closing deals.
  • Experience conducting product demonstrations and presentations for senior stakeholders, including CXO level audiences, and responding to RFPs/RFIs.
  • Knowledge of governance, risk, compliance, operational resilience, business continuity, or financial controls is highly beneficial.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce or similar), sales analytics, and standard productivity tools (e.g., MS Office, presentation software).
  • Excellent communication skills.
