Role Description
The Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai.
The role oversees the sales function, develops sales strategies, and manages existing and new clients in shipping and logistics.
The role includes client meetings, proposals, quotations, contract negotiations, performance monitoring, CRM maintenance, and team mentoring.
Core Responsibilities
- Oversee the sales function and implement sales strategies.
- Manage existing and new B2B clients in the shipping and logistics sector.
- Identify business opportunities and conduct client meetings.
- Prepare proposals and quotations and negotiate contracts.
- Monitor performance against sales targets.
- Coordinate with operations, finance, and customer service on pricing, delivery, and client satisfaction.
- Prepare sales reports and maintain accurate CRM data.
- Mentor junior sales staff to support team performance and revenue growth.
Qualifications
- Proven sales or business development experience is required.
- Shipping, logistics, or related transportation experience is preferred.
- Strong client relationship management, negotiation, and deal-closing skills in a B2B environment are required.
- Ability to analyse market trends, develop sales plans, and manage pipelines is required.
- Strong communication and presentation skills are required.
- Experience with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and basic reporting dashboards is required.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is required.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Additional Dubai-relevant languages are advantageous.
- Prior sales-team leadership or mentoring experience is a plus.
