Responsibilities
- Promote and represent the services and facilities of ECGC on sales calls, at trade shows, conferences, networking events, and industry functions
- Drive, develop, and maintain relationships with corporate clients, individual prospects, tour operators, hotel partners, and key stakeholders
- Foster strategic partnerships with Qatar Foundation Members and corporate clients
- Submit client quotations, general proposals and bid documents
- Conversion of proposals and bids into confirmed signed business
- Develop and execute a structured sales plan covering all revenue streams
- Conduct site tours and presentations for prospective clients
- Identify and pursue sponsorship opportunities for ECGC tournaments, events, and programs
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities
- Prepare monthly sales reports and performance updates for Business Development Manager and ECGC management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Communications, or Hospitality Management
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong relationship building and account management abilities
- In depth industry knowledge and exposure
- Proven relationships, database and network of industry contacts
- Market research and competitor analysis

About ECGC
- Education City Golf Club is a premier golfing destination situated in the heart of Doha, Qatar.
- Officially opened in 2019 under the patronage of Qatar Foundation, designed by José María Olazábal.
About the Role
- The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth across all commercial streams: memberships, sponsorships, venue hire, team building, corporate events, academy programs, hotel and tourism partnerships, MICE.
- The role leads development and execution of sales strategies to grow corporate and individual client base.
- Operates as primary commercial interface between ECGC and corporate market.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and represent the services and facilities of ECGC on sales calls, at trade shows, conferences, networking events, and industry functions.
- Drive, develop, and maintain relationships with corporate clients, individual prospects, tour operators, hotel partners, and key stakeholders to generate new and repeat business.
- Foster strategic partnerships with Qatar Foundation Members and corporate clients.
- Submit client quotations, general proposals and bid documents.
- Conversion of proposals and bids into confirmed signed business.
- Develop and execute a structured sales plan covering all revenue streams.
- Conduct site tours and presentations for prospective clients.
- Identify and pursue sponsorship opportunities for ECGC tournaments, events, and programs, preparing formal proposals with defined deliverables and commercial terms.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare monthly sales reports and performance updates for Business Development Manager and ECGC management.
- Assist the Business Development Manager with the preparation of the annual Business Plan and Budget for the Department.
- Promote and develop Sponsorship for Education City Golf Club to support membership and brand awareness.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Communications, or Hospitality Management.
