A leading healthcare company in Saudi Arabia is hiring a Sales Manager for the Critical Care and Medical Furniture portfolio.
The role owns hospital-facing sales, tender management, and a regional sales team across the Western and Southern regions.
The position requires an established network with hospital decision-makers and procurement teams in Jeddah, Makkah, Madinah, and the Southern provinces.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and deliver the annual sales plan for critical care equipment and medical furniture across the Western and Southern regions.
- Lead technical and commercial proposals, clinical evaluation support, pricing strategy, and negotiation throughout the tender lifecycle.
- Build senior relationships with hospital executives, procurement directors, biomedical engineering departments, and clinical leaders.
- Recruit, manage, and coach area and territory sales representatives while setting targets and reviewing pipeline performance.
- Coordinate with international manufacturers on product positioning, pricing approvals, and joint account planning.
- Monitor competitors, pricing trends, and market developments across the region.
- Manage forecasting, budgeting, and collections, including days-sales-outstanding on government accounts.
- Represent the company at healthcare exhibitions, hospital open days, and clinical conferences.
What We’re Looking For
- At least 8 years of progressive medical device or medical equipment sales experience in Saudi Arabia, including 2–3 years in sales management or team leadership.
- Proven experience managing NUPCO and Etimad government tenders and direct private-hospital sales cycles.
- An established network of hospital executives, procurement leads, and clinical stakeholders across the Western and/or Southern regions.
- Strong commercial acumen in forecasting, pricing strategy, margin management, and contract negotiation.
- Demonstrated people-management experience with sales teams and performance targets.
- Bachelor’s degree required; a technical, biomedical, pharmacy, or business background is advantageous.
- Fluent Arabic and English, based in or willing to relocate to Jeddah, with regular regional travel.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in critical care equipment, anesthesia or ICU devices, or hospital and medical furniture is strongly preferred.
- Existing relationships with hospital groups or Ministry of Health clusters in the Western and Southern regions are advantageous.
- Experience representing international critical care brands such as Mindray, Dräger, GE Healthcare, or Getinge is advantageous.
