Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies for petrochemical products across key African markets
- Identify and qualify new customers
- Manage relationships with existing clients
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms
- Conduct market research and monitor competitor activity
- Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports
- Coordinate with supply chain, finance, and operations teams to ensure timely deliveries
- Manage credit and payment terms
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Proven sales and business development experience in chemicals, petrochemicals, or related industrial sectors, ideally focused on African markets
- Strong skills in client relationship management, negotiation, and closing deals across diverse cultural and business environments
- Solid understanding of international trade, logistics, and basic commercial terms (Incoterms, payment terms, contracts)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
- Comfort with CRM systems (Microsoft Business Center), MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and digital communication tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, or a related field; equivalent practical strong experience will also be considered
- Ability to work fully independently and travel within Africa and the region when required

Role Description
- The Sales Manager – Chemicals & Petrochemicals | Africa Market is a Full time, hybrid role based in Dubai, with flexibility for some work from home.
- The role focuses on developing and executing sales strategies for petrochemical products across key African markets.
- Daily responsibilities include identifying and qualifying new customers, managing relationships with existing clients, and negotiating pricing, contracts, and delivery terms.
