Sales Manager

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Develop sales strategies, generate new business, build a customer pipeline, and sell air, sea, and road freight services.
• Sell customs clearance, warehousing, and related logistics services while managing key accounts.
• Prepare commercial proposals, negotiate rates and service agreements, and coordinate with Pricing and Operations.
• Identify trade lanes and business opportunities, conduct client meetings and sales visits, and monitor market trends.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets and maintain accurate reports, pipelines, and customer follow-ups.

Mandatory Requirements

• At least 7 years of sales experience in UAE freight forwarding or logistics.
• At least 7 years of air freight experience and at least 5 years of Dubai Airport Free Zone experience.
• Knowledge of the Dubai and UAE logistics market and a proven record of acquiring customers and generating revenue.
• Understanding of freight rates, Incoterms, customs procedures, and international shipping.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, ability to work independently, and ability to achieve sales targets.
• Fluent English is required.

Preferred Experience

• An existing customer network in the UAE logistics market is a strong advantage.
• Additional languages are an advantage.
• Experience with electronics, mobile phones, high-value cargo, e-commerce, or time-critical air freight shipments is preferred.

Work Location

• The role is performed in person in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
